2016-2017 School Year Comes to a Close
The last day of school for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors is Friday, June 9th. The last day for seniors is on Friday, June 2nd.
Autumn Barnette, junior at Arrowhead says, “I wish I was a senior this year because all of my friends graduate and I feel like I feel like I will have to make all new friends next year.”
Barnette says, “I haven’t had a good year yet, so I am hoping next year will be more fun. I am looking forward to being a senior because we have a lot more freedom in choosing what we want to do and I am mostly looking forward to the football games and having seniority privileges.”
Tomas Artiles, a senior at Arrowhead, says, “I am excited to go to college, but I feel like it will be sad looking back at the old high school memories. I feel like I am going to miss it a lot.”
Artiles says he will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee this fall.
“I am looking forward to going to UWM because it will be a whole new environment and experience and I am excited to have a fresh start,” Artiles says.
If weather permits, the graduation ceremony for Arrowhead seniors will be on at the Arrowhead stadium on Saturday, June 3rd at 7:30pm. In event of a rainstorm, the ceremony will be on Sunday, June 4th at 1:30pm. This will be announced as soon as they know.
