Sophomores Excited About Going To North Campus Next Year
Arrowhead Union High School has two campuses: north campus and south campus. The campuses are separated by the football field. North campus is where juniors and seniors take classes, and south campus is where freshmen and sophomores take classes. Some freshmen and sophomores take classes at north; and some juniors and seniors can take classes at south.
The south campus bell rings to begin school at 7:20am. The north campus bell rings to begin school at 7:30. South concludes school at 2:26, whereas at north campus concludes at 2:36.
Lauren Chromy, a sophomore at Arrowhead says, “I am most excited about the classes I am taking next year, because at south there are just basic classes like biology, English 10. But, at north, there are so many more forms of science, English, social studies, etc.” Electives offered at north campus that are not offered at south campus may include: Culinary, Interior Design, Journalism, Creative Writing, etc.
“The classes I am most looking forward to are interior design and environmental biology,” says Chromy.
Chromy also says, “I think north campus will be better because the teachers at south campus are more strict and at north they are more relaxed. I have a class up at north now, so I know my way around. I do think that they first day of school I will have to use a map though.”
Ellie Bonk, a sophomore at Arrowhead says, “I am most looking forward to having the coffee shop at north, because it seems like a fun place to relax and do your homework as an alternative to study hall.”
