Arrowhead Students Adjust To Their New Schedules
On January 23rd 2017, Arrowhead students began second semester.
Madison Barnes, senior at Arrowhead says, “It is hard to add/drop classes because the guidance office is always so busy.”
The add/drop hours at north campus are study halls, lunch, and before school from Monday, January 23rd to Monday, January 30th.
“This semester I have easy classes since it is the last semester of my senior year. My favorite class is probably modern lit because I have the class with my twin sister, and two of my other friends,” Barnes says.
“My hardest class is AP Stats because it is very hard to understand and comprehend the material. I also have senioritis, so taking a hard class my last semester wasn’t one of the best ideas,” Barnes says.
Sammy Jo Heinitz, a senior at Arrowhead says, “I am looking forward to my last semester of senior year. Though it’ll be sad to graduate, I’m ready to get out of here.”
“My most challenging class is AP Statistics because it requires focus and persistence to understand the concepts and sometimes I just don’t have that,” Heinitz says.
“What I will miss most about high school is being in Broadway Company, where I found lifelong friendships doing the thing I love. I know I won’t find something like that anywhere else so I plan to cherish the time I still have left with everybody,” Heinitz also says.
Robby Shattuck, a junior at Arrowhead says, “My schedule is basically the same as last semesters. I have a lot of friends in my new classes so that’s a plus, but I can’t wait to finish this semester and start my senior year.”
