Kyle Lipske, a senior at Arrowhead, is a player on the basketball team, The Nuggets. He says, “It is a great way to make new friends and get exercise while having fun.”

Lipske says, “I have done intramural basketball since freshman year. It gets better each year, and I have made a lot of new friends since I began four years ago. I enjoy the experience of being part of a new team, and I am looking forward to winning many games this season.”

“Although I am not very good, I enjoy the exercise and the practice. Being on an intramural team has helped me become a better player and person,” Lipske added.

Hunter Pinkalla, a senior at Arrowhead, says, “We go into the game and play ball. That’s about all there is to it.”

“I enjoy being with all of my friends, since we are all on the same team. It is nice to let off some steam with my classmates in the senior class,” Pinkalla says.

Megan Dunn, a senior at Arrowhead and avid spectator of the intramural games, says, “I love to watch all of my friends play. They are not very good, but I like to see them try. It’s funny when they fall.”

“Although they are not very good, you can tell that they really try and it is very encouraging. They try so hard and it is really funny sometimes.” Dunn says.
