For seniors at Arrowhead High School, the 2015-2016 school year has just begun. Through, college essays, sports, homework, college applications and family and friends can

all add stress on a seniors’ shoulders.

On top of school, many seniors are involved in extracurricular activities including sports, clubs, and volunteering. Normally there are two hours after school for practice, as well as club meetings. Many student say it’s tough for a 17 or 18 year old to juggle these activities, plus school, all at once.

Senior Maddie Kopecky said, “Applying to colleges, as well as trying to find a job at the moment. Oh, and keeping up with ennis and homework.”

According to seniors, the main thing they have been working so hard for all these four years is college and their future careers.

Senior Gretchen Yeager says school has prepared her for exactly that. “School has guided me to a really bright future, that enlightens me to do well. Its has prepared me for college and what I want to do with the rest of my life. It’s been hard, but I feel ready for my future.”

Senior year brings graduating, and also the last homecoming, prom, Hawks Fest, pep rallies, and many other events Arrowhead holds. Senior, Nick Genetempo says, “Definitely the football games, my friends, my teachers, and DECA. I’m going to miss a lot of it.”

Senior Donovan McAnany says, “All my teachers and peers. The friendships I’ve made, I’m going to definitely miss them.”

There are 10 months before graduation, but as some may know, a year can go by in a blink of an eye. Good luck to all the seniors as you start your last year here at Arrowhead!
