Viners Climb To The Top

Since the Vine app came out in 2013, its population has skyrocketed creating everyday people into stars.  Vines are just six second videos resulting in major breaks for creative creators.

Andrew Bachelor is also known as Kingbach to his 6.5 million followers. Vine has skyrocketed him to commercials, movies, and TV show offers.  He has a recurring role in the hit TV show House of Lies; he’s battled Nick Cannon on Wild ‘n’ Out, and he has made an appearance on Burn notice. He is also working on filming for Adult Swim channel. Bachelor even has endorsements from big names like Shaquille O’Neal, and Jay Pharoh from Saturday Night Live.  Bachelor gives back to world in with his nonprofit organization called Rwhon foundation. The foundation gives school supplies to schools out in Jamaica and parts of the United States, and gives food and gifts out during the holidays.

Jerome Jarre, another frequent viner, has also became famous with his positive energy, and strong French accent. He has caught viewer’s attention with his videos with unsuspecting people. Earlier this year, he was featured on season 11 of Ellen.

Britney Furlan moved to Hollywood from Philadelphia to pursue a career in comedy. When she came to Hollywood, she first was featured in reality prank shows, but they were canceled within a few episodes. She became interesting in vining as a hobby when it first came out, but she quickly gained viewers and is one of the longest lasting vine career.  Britney is aware that fame comes and goes, and viewers get bored or move on. Furlan thought caught the attention of many companies and has received multiple job offers.

“Honestly, if I took every job offer I’m offered, I could be a multimillionaire right now, but I don’t want to flood my vine with content,” said Britney Furlan.

Furlan now produces vines for Strident, American Eagle, and Dickies. And she is working on sketch show with actor, comedian, producer and writer Seth Green.  Even her two small dogs Meg and Wicky are the new models for AEO’s new doggie clothes line.
