Last week marked the end of the regular season and the beginning of the playoffs for all WIAA football teams. Arrowhead’s first game of the postseason was last Friday, Oct. 24th, against Wausau West at home. The Warhawks beat the Warriors 56-12.
“Our main focus is controlling what we as a team can control,” Head Coach Matt Harris said. “Our motto is ‘Be a Champ Today,’ so we focus on doing that every day. We do not look forward or behind; we focus on the present. Our biggest strength is our players. We have amazing kids and amazing talent, and we need to believe nobody can beat us.”
Arrowhead’s playoff run continues at Arrowhead on Friday at 7:00 PM as they face Brookfield East. If students want to go to the game, remember that they will need to buy a ticket, as the student activity pass will not be accepted for any and all playoff games. Be there or be square!
