Q: What Arrowhead memory stands out when reflecting on your time here?
A: I was on the cross country and track & field teams, and they were my favorite parts of high school. I made fond memories and several long-life friends. My favorite memory was the group hug and tears of happiness I shared with my varsity cross country team after we placed second at State my junior year.
Q: Did Arrowhead prepare you for your job? And if so, how?
A: I am a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse and Children’s WI. It has been my dream job since high school, and I love getting to take care for critically ill infants and bring comfort to their families. Some of the courses I took at AHS taught me a lot of studying habits and test-taking strategies that helped me get through undergrad and grad school as I navigated my way to nursing as a second career.
Q: How did Arrowhead make a lasting impact?
A: Arrowhead made a lasting impact because I found a group and hobby to belong to, and I created lasting friendships that bring me such joy all these years later.
Q: What is your biggest piece of advice for current Arrowhead students?
A: My advice would be to find a club, sport, or hobby to join. Being a part of a group can make such a large school feel smaller, and the memories and friendships made there are invaluable.
