Many people disagree after Arrowhead High School decided to ban the use of ChatGPT, following concerns that many students had taken advantage of it. ChatGPT, when used correctly, is commonly used to study for tests or quizzes or to help you when you are stuck on a problem.
However, many kids noticed the ability of ChatGPT and tried to take advantage of it, making it do homework, quizzes, tests, and finals for them.
“Chat GPT should not be used in schools,” Mrs. Luedke, Arrowhead teacher, said. “Chat GPT can be inaccurate, and many kids use it for things such as doing homework for them.”
On the other hand, many students believe ChatGPT should be allowed in school, because ChatGPT can be used for things such as helping learn about what they are doing in school. For example, many students learn at different paces, and it can help people who are behind get caught up. ChatGPT can also be used to create quiz questions to help study, and can be used to ask about tips and feedback about assignments you have.
