It’s wild to think this is the last article I’ll write for my Journalism class. Four years ago, I was just trying to find my classes, and now I’m getting ready to walk across a stage.
High school was a mix of late nights, frustrating last-minute assignments, great friends, and lots of firsts, lasts, and growth. Each year, I discovered that I was a different person than the last.
I’ve learned a lot here. How to speak up, how to listen, and how to persevere through things even when it’s tough. I’ll take all of those lessons with me to college and wherever I go.
I want to thank some of the teachers I’ve had over the years: Mrs. Danay, Mrs. Moseler, Mr. Reichle, Ms. Elmergreen, Mrs. Passler, Mr. Rauch, Mrs. Falkner, Mr. Haase, Mr. Hall, Mr. Tschanz, Mrs. Moseler, Mr. Herriot, and many more.
To anyone still returning next year, it’s worth it to persevere and put in the effort to succeed.
To anyone else in the Class of 2025, wow, we made it. Thank you for the memories and good luck in your future!
