Popular Twitch personality Jeremy Elbertson or ‘Jerma985’ has continued to livestream almost a year after his retirement announcement in May of 2024.
“I got everything I wanted out of it. I got everything I could’ve ever dreamed of in my entire life,”
Elbertson said during a video. “So… I think it’s time to slow it down.”
Elbertson’s nearly 14-year, award-winning entertainment career spanned Youtube, voice acting and live-streaming and garnered a dedicated audience of over a million people. He has stated that from now on he plans a much more laid-back and casual approach to his content.
“Jerma is so awesome, I love him so much,” Maddy Burton, Arrowhead senior, said. “He’s so silly.”
This past weekend, Elbertson streamed various games and chatted with an audience of almost 14,000 live viewers.
