Nettie McClutchy: The most influential person in my life right now is my aunt deb. Throughout my life my parents always told me to pick a career that would fulfill me and not just my pockets. This idea heavily stems from my grandparents. My Aunt Deb took this very seriously and went to college to be a film director. With many people telling her it’s hard to be successful in this field she persevered as she moved to Brooklyn, New York. She recently helped create a documentary called the “Martha Micheal Effect” that went on to be nominated for an Oscar. She reminds me to make choices that will make me happy even if it means going against the grain.
