Humans of Arrowhead

Mr. Dave Gierach: I just really want to live long enough to see how my kids do. And to be there for them, so that I can help them, like my mom has helped me. Be able to enjoy their successes and be around for their stumbles as well. I am curious to see what they’re going to do with their lives. That would be a big goal for me. I’d also like to get back into coaching sooner rather than later. I’d like to be a part of a program that goes to state and is successful. But to be around the kids again in a different way rather than just being in the classroom, I miss that part of it. And I could hopefully transfer some of the stuff that I know to them and just have fun with them. And not only have fun but be successful again. I’d like to do it if it’s freshman, but I think at some point I want to go back into varsity again. I think I got enough in the tank to do it; it’s a lot of work, but it’s something that I think it would be fun to see if we could get to state again. Those are some big goals.
