Summer is approaching and so is the end of Arrowhead spring sports. Many teams are coming into the final few weeks of the season.

The boys baseball team is currently 13-2 and 9-1 in conference. The Warhawks are currently ranked at third in the state according to Maxpreps.com. The team has an upcoming schedule of Middleton, Verona, Wisconsin Lutheran and Kenosha Tremper. The Warhawks look to make an appearance at state just like last year.

Senior pitcher, Jacob Johnson said, “The season is going very well so far and we are getting hot at the right time and hopefully we can ride it all the way into state and hopefully win it all this year.”

The Arrowhead girls softball team is 10-1 with a 5-0 conference record. According to Maxpreps, they are ranked at eighth in the state. The girls play Catholic Memorial next, followed by a home game against Mukwonago and two away games against Waukesha North and Muskego.

Boys Lacrosse is currently 7-1 with a 3-1 conference record. The boys rank second in the state according to max preps. The Warhawks have nine games left in their season with their next three games being, Neenah at home, Franklin at home and Oconomowoc away.

The Girls Lacrosse team is 8-1 with a 8-0 conference record and according to Maxpreps.com, they are ranked second in the state. The girls have a total of 11 games left on the season including the next two against Illinois teams at Arrowhead, this weekend. These second games are followed by a home game against Oconomowoc.

The girls soccer team is 7-1 and 2-1 in conference and ranked ninth in state according to Maxpreps.com. The girls have four games remaining, first, Oconomowoc, away. Then Muskego and Kettle Moraine both at home and then the last game of the season is against Waukesha West at Waukesha West High School.

The Arrowhead boys tennis team is 19-3 and 8-0 in conference. According to whstca.com, the Warhawks are ranked fifth in the state. The boys will participate in the conference tournament next and the Coach’s classic tournament before they start sub-sectionals.

Senior captain, Brendan Pietila said, “I think the main reason why we’ve been so successful is we don’t take any match for granted. We go out there and control what we can control and we take care of our business. We have a lot of fun with it too, we are always the loudest team and we love to goof around with each other.”
