According to The new Assassin’s Creed franchise, there will be a new game coming out in the fall of 2017. The game is about a group of assassins who fight for liberty against another group called the Templars. Since 2009, the Assassin’s Creed team published and released a new game every fall until the fall of 2016. The franchise posted on their website that they have decided not to make one in the fall of 2016, because they needed to take an overview on how they can improve their games in the future. The last game released was Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, which was based in the London’s industrial revolution.

According to ubisoft (a game development company), the new Assassin’s Creed game will be called Assassin’s Creed Empire and will take place in ancient Egypt. The characters are still unknown and there are still different ideas to be sorted out by the franchise. The Assassin’s Creed team posted that they do not know who the character is going to be yet and there are ideas and thoughts still going around about how the game layout will look like. The Assassin’s Creed team wrote on the Ubisoft website, that they will no longer be reusing other game layouts from the previous games. The new game will have all new graphics and will be better able to be processed by the desired game console.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise was on hold for a year with what is known as franchise fatigue. The franchise had to create better games and sort out struggles.  The new game is currently being planned and developed.

The map of the city in the game will be based off of the Nile River with boats and horses that the character can ride on. Since this game is based off of ancient Egypt.

Some talk is being spread on the website called Kotaku, that the franchise might make a trilogy out of the new character and that the next games with the character will take place in ancient Rome and ancient Greece.

“I’m hoping that the new game will be followed by a series. I think it will be really cool to show the assassin’s life in different time periods and in different areas of the world.” says University of Whitewater student, Travis Marcol.

The Assassin’s Creed team will be working harder on the enemies. They get confused as to where the character is to quickly and they become unaware, which is not as realistic as the hardore Assassin fans want. This is also a factor to the franchise fatigue. Some of this was also do to the fact that the franchise came out with two Assassin’s Creed games on the same day.”Assassin’s creed Rogue and Assassin’s Creed Unity. Ubisoft statistics show that the Assassin’s Creed Unity was highly unliked by the fans and had too many glitches with fighting and climbing the walls and roofs.

According to the gaming stats on the Ubisoft website, this game also caused the latest game, Syndicate, to not make as much money as expected to make. The franchise decided after this point to take a one year break and think about different ways to make the franchise better and release the game that will raise them out of the ground after their downfall with Assassin’s Creed Unity.

“I think the game is going to be really good, especially that they took a year to plan the game before even making it. The game will be so much better and I’m sure that by the time it comes out, the graphics will be amazing,” says Kettle Moraine student, Chris Tremmy.

“After playing Assassin’s Creed Unity, I thought that the next game is going to be terrible. I was wrong though and I think that when Assassin’s Creed Empire comes out. The franchise will do much better at their business. I know for sure that I will be buying the next game as soon as I can get my hands on one,” says Marcol.

“Assassin’s Creed is by far my favorite series to play and I think that Ubisoft and the Assassin’s Creed production team is going to be way better at creating the game that the fans have been hoping for. After Assassins Creed Syndicate came out, I was worried that the franchise was done making the games and would move on to something else. Fortunately, that’s not the case and I hope it never will be,” says Marcol.

I’m Assassin’s Creed’s biggest fan. I have payed all of the games and I can’t wait for the new game to come out. It’s hopefully going to be the best game they ever release,” says Tremmy.

There is a an Assassin’s creed movie coming out in the winter of 2016. This movie will be based of the video game but will have new characters and will have a different plot to it. The so called Animus company has a different way for the character to enter the simulation other than just laying on a bed and being hooked up to the simulator. The movie will include a mechanical arm that the character is going to be attached to and they will then be put into the simulation and will be able to move around freely. A trailer for the new movie has been released to the public.

“The movie looks pretty good. I’m excited to see how well it compares to the video game. I think that the new Animus arm control simulation is going to be interesting. It is definitely different from how the video game had it.” Says Tremmy.

Assassin’s Creed Empire will come out around the fall of 2017. Ubisoft, along with the franchise is very excited to release the new game. The franchise posted the informations on the Ubisoft website. Assassin’s Creed is hoping to have a much better profit from their new future game coming out and are say they hope to regain any fans back that might have been lost from their bad game release in 2014.
