On February 12, 2025, the band Japanese Breakfast was revealed as part of Summerfest’s official lineup for 2025. This year their setlist is anticipated to include tracks from their new album For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Women) which will release on March 21, 2025.
In 2023 the band performed at Summerfest’s BMO Pavilion with their setlist containing tracks from their albums Psychopomp, Soft Sounds from Another Planet, and the Grammy-nominated Jubilee.
Their upcoming album For Melancholy Brunettes contains ten tracks and is the band’s first time recording in a studio setting. The album includes a song featuring actor Jeff Bridges.
Japanese Breakfast’s tour will begin this April at Coachella 2025 with their North America tour consisting of 20 different locations across the United States.
