Lululemon (Lulu) clothing starts at an expensive price tag ranging from $25 to $150,  but has Arrowhead students going crazy over their stylish athletic attire. And along with a LuLu purchase comes a red bag that are in the hands of many students.

On this bag has many inspiring, motivational phrases and quotes that inspire the individual to go out and get fit.

Some quotes include the following: “The world moves at such a rapid rate that warning to implement changes will leave you two steps behind.” “Do it now, do it now, do not know!” “Your outlook in life is a direct reflection of how much you like yourself.”

Luluemon.com states that the idea was to have the store be a community hub where people could learn and discuss the physical aspects of healthy living (from yoga and diet to running and cycling) as well as the mental aspects of living a powerful life of possibilities.

According to lululemon.com, the Lululemon name was chosen in a survey of 100 people from a list of 20 brand names and 20 logos. The logo is actually a stylized “A” that was made for the first letter in the name “athletically hip,” a name which failed to make the grade.

According to lululemon.com, Lulu represents “authenticity” and “integrity.” Lulu sells a variety of athletic clothing including sports bras, leggings, T-shirts, tanks, and shorts. Sports bras range from $55-$65, leggings range from $85-$120, T-shirts range from $34-$78, tanks range from $35-$80, and shorts range from $45-$70.

Lindsay Bertrum, says “What’s different about Lululemon and any other athletic clothing store is that they focus on you and only you when you walk into the store. They want to find the perfect piece of clothing to get you ready for your goals that you want to achieve and overall get you in a positive attitude to make you feel motivated to work out. Working out has never been my favorite thing to do but wearing lululemon clothing gives me a boost of confidence to get through [my] workout.

So what do you get inside these trendy red bags? One thing is high quality and durable leggings. If Lulu clothing gets ripped or if the threading becomes undun for any reason, Lululemon will fix your leggings to make them look as they were when you bought them. With no extra charge included, just stop in a store and they’ll fix up your leggings if any accidents happened to them.

As for a sports bra, the True Self Bra II costs $58. This Self Bra fabric is sweat-wicking, four-way stretch, and cottony-soft.

Along with women’s clothing, Lululemon has a line of men’s clothing that sells shorts, T-shirts, swimwear, hats, etc. For an example of the prices, a Namaste at the Beach Tank starts at $58 and is known to be perfect for yoga on the beach or just an afternoon out. Another example for the men’s clothing is the Seriously Light Luon, which is a barely-there version of Lulu’s sweat-wicking, four-way stretch Luon fabric.

“I have about three pairs of leggings from Lululemon and I can honestly say they’re my favorite pairs out of all my other leggings. Although, the price for one of the leggings is a little pricey, they fit perfectly and never fade in color. Every time I shop online or in stores they always have new styles that are different then the next which I really like,” says junior Dom Fortune.
